#40 The Bay of Islands

After a view days of misty, rainy weather we finally got some sun and even 20°C which underlined the beauty of the Bay of Islands. An old lady in Russell gifted us some grapefruits and a chayote (never seen before) from her garden. And who knew that the Austrian artist and architect Friedensreich Hundertwasser actually became a NZ citizen and lived here for the last part of his life?
