Goodbye Berlin

The rooms are empty. The traces of the last few days have been cleared away. We are going to the heart of Berlin one last time. The weather is sunny and warm. Perfect for the final trip to Checkpoint Charlie. The excitement is palpable. The students have one last chance to explore the area. It's almost impossible to travel through Berlin without stumbling upon the history of the country. Of course, the connections are not yet clear to many people. Sometimes facts from the Nazi era are mixed up with those of the GDR. These topics will be revisited in the next school year.

We go back to the hostel to pick up our luggage. Then we walk back to the train station and wait for the train. The departure time is scheduled for 1:33 PM. Home, here we come!
