LAST STOP: AUCKLAND

The last two days in Auckland were a little influenced by our travel fatigue. Therefore, this will be one of my shortest entries. We had a tight schedule for the last 4 weeks here and we can feel it now at the end of our journey. We decided to stay in a hostel for the 2 days in Auckland - which showed us once again why it was the right decision for us to go on a camping trip.

We hardly slept because it was just too noisy and, above all, dirty... gross! Well, at least we will be staying in hostels for the next 2 weeks - I definitely need a vacation from this vacation xD! Apart from that, we explored Auckland a bit and made our last souvenir purchases. On the whole, it can also be said that the cities in New Zealand are not the most worth seeing - as breathtaking as the nature is, the days in the cities were rather unspectacular for us. Now we hope that we will return to Australia tomorrow with all our luggage and that we will finally be greeted by summer again!
