Greece can offer more than beautiful islands - Floating Monasteries of Metéora

Yesterday morning we took a walk through Ioannina (GRC) - you could probably call it the Greek Heidelberg. Student city, beautiful old town.

In the afternoon we continued to Kastraki (GRC). Here, the legendary rock formations of Metéora awaited us, and to top it all off, these small summit plateaus were adorned with artfully arranged monasteries. A visual spectacle and once again a place where we were amazed. In the evening, we enjoyed the sunset and this morning the alarm clock rang at 04:45 a.m. to see all this beauty in the face of dawn. A dream!

Today, after a four-hour drive, we are sleeping just before the Kassandra Peninsula. The airport of Thessaloníki is located about 70 km to the north, where Dani's flight back to Switzerland will take off on Sunday morning. We still have one more day together tomorrow and we'll go out on the water. I'm excited :)
