As I said, yesterday was a bit of sightseeing in León. We first decided to visit the Museo de La Revolucion, which is located right in front of the Cathedral. At first, you can't recognize it because it looks like a run-down building from the outside :D Here, you are even personally guided through the corridors by a veteran of the revolution. Unfortunately, none of them speak English, which makes things a bit complicated. I really tried to listen and understand everything, but no chance. Too much information and too fast :D I think he also realized that we couldn't follow him anymore, but he didn't give up and continued to explain everything bravely :) The highlight was the tour on the rooftop with a beautiful view of the city and surrounding area. But be careful where you step, it didn't always look very trustworthy.
Afterwards, we went to the Basilica Catedral de la Asuncion, because we had read that you can go up to the 'roof' and it was unique. You climb the stone stairs and feel like you're in a different world. Everything is white and you have to take off your shoes :) But be careful not to step on the domes, apparently they are not very stable and you could break through. I wondered if anyone had tried it before, but it didn't look like it and I didn't want to be the first :D From here, you have a wonderful view of León and it's a great backdrop for selfies ☆ Don't miss it.
Oh, and happy Valentine's Day ♡ We got a Yogurette and I was really happy about it ;)
