Tag 1-2 Jena-Frankfurt-Dubai-HCMC

The journey went as planned (okay, the train wasn't on time but I had enough buffer time). Emirates is a good airline, no complaints about the service. It was great that the planes were only a third full and there was plenty of space (4 seats) to sleep.

Stopover in Dubai, 6 am in the morning at 38 degrees Celsius. The city consists only of sand, steel, and concrete. No idea why people would want to vacation there.

Arrival in HCMC, withdrew 2500000 Dong with the credit card and took bus 109 (20000 Dong). It was a bit tricky to find the hostel in the city center. After asking around, I finally found the backyard, it couldn't be seen from the street. Very clean, 5€ for one night in a 10-person room. A bit like being in the military.

Showered and went out. The hostel is right in the center next to the party mile. First, I got some beer and food. The party mile is incredibly crowded and extremely loud. Hash is offered everywhere but not aggressively. There are a lot of massage salons where the girls are competing for customers. The special offer is a private massage (everyone knows what is meant).
