Colombia 2023

We are starting our trip to 🇨🇴 Colombia 2 years late (due to corona).

After we have already been to 🇧🇷 Brazil, Chile 🇨🇱 and Argentina 🇦🇷, this is now the 4th country in South America that we are visiting.

The backpacks are packed! Equipped with AirTags in case something gets lost again.

We'll deliver Rudy 🚐 to Limburg. He should also go on a wellness vacation🤣.

From Limburg we go to Frankfurt✈️ Well, what can I say😂 our plane is delayed so we won't be able to catch the connecting flight in Bogota.

Thanks to the lounge, we make the most of the waiting time🤣

Not only 2 years later but also again, finally boarding, over 2 hours late.

Then let's see where we end up in Bogota for the night. (The exciting question... with or without luggage) And I also said, let's pack a pair of panties 🩲 in our hand luggage 🎒. 🤣

As already suspected, we land in Bogota too late for the connecting flight.

Everything else works quite well. Immigration goes quickly, the instructions regarding onward travel are ok. We will be taken to the hotel by taxi. Unfortunately, our backpacks spend the night at the airport. The hotel is ok and there are vouchers for a meal. However, we are not hungry and try to get some sleep instead. Tomorrow at 6 a.m. there will be breakfast, then a shuttle to the airport and then hopefully we will be in Cartagena tomorrow morning. After all, our holiday fund should be topped up again by €600 per person in compensation🤣
