Day 4

Already on Thursday evenings, I noticed that my forehead was swelling a bit. I thought it was just from the sunburn on my forehead that I had gotten while gardening, but it turned out to be something different...

On Friday morning, we spent the whole morning preparing food for Saturday and Sunday. So we had to chop up about 1 kilogram of meat (of course, horse meat and whole chickens) and about 5 kilograms of vegetables. Then we drove to the big baboons with the truck and fed them. The porridge was pretty disgusting and ended up not only on our hands but everywhere. When I went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror, I was greeted by the sight of an avatar😱

In the afternoon, I went to the office and someone sent a picture to the doctor here. He said that it probably wasn't from the sun, but that I probably got bitten by something and had an allergic reaction to it. Since I shouldn't be in the sun anymore, I spent the afternoon going through pictures from camera traps.

We ended the evening with a small party at the bush camp.
