Almost everywhere in Europe there is a water shortage. Subjectively and objectively, however, we are in that small region where that is definitely not true.
In the region of Northwest Norway, it has rained much more than average this year. Even locals said that they have rarely (or never) experienced so much rain and wind.
Therefore, our planned glacier hike unfortunately fell through and we continued driving south along the Kystriksveien (Helgeland).
This time, we crossed the Arctic Circle by ferry, which now takes us from coast to coast every few kilometers.
The journey was adventurous, as raging floodwaters flowed down from every mountain we passed and gusts of wind shook the motorhome quite a bit.
After weather warnings were issued for our area, we decided to stop driving at 8:30 PM and found a campground for safety reasons.
