Apparently I should come back to Ljubljana. Today, on the last day of my vacation, some nice coincidences come together and the day just wants to be good to me. :)
It starts with Ali's breakfast for me... :)
... and continues with a super interesting Free Walking Tour, where I learn a lot about Ljubljana and Slovenia and try regional Blueberry liqueur. During my first stay in Ljubljana, I missed the opportunity for this tour and now I can make up for it in super bright sunshine and pleasant autumn temperatures.
Later, I walk up to the castle with Ali, from where you can not only see the whole of Ljubljana, but also have a great view of the mountains. Apparently, from the castle tower you can see 1/3 of all of Slovenia.
In addition, today is Friday - Street Food Day in Ljubljana - the local establishments from Ljubljana are represented with food stands in the market square. There is plenty of choice of vegetarian and overall very international offerings, just the right thing for me to indulge in on the last day.
