After a relaxed and delicious dinner at Hans' apartment in Erfurt (original Mexican Mole Poblano and Guacamole!) and a more or less quiet night, we started our journey on February 27th at 10:11 am at Erfurt Hauptbahnhof. Surprisingly, the Deutsche Bahn was only 2 minutes late, so the tight connection in Göttingen (5 minutes time) might still work. We arrived in Göttingen with an additional 3 minutes delay, but since our connecting train was also running late, we barely made it and sat on the train towards Hannover.
Shortly before reaching Hannover Hauptbahnhof, we received a message that there was an emergency call and we were not allowed to enter. So we waited and missed our connecting train to Amsterdam. Two hours at drug hotspot number 1, time to grab something to eat. Finally, at 2:40 pm, we continued our journey and reached our temporary destination Amsterdam around 7:25 pm, almost 3 hours later than planned.
