28.10.2016 Gili Trawangan

the last 3 days before going back to Germany, we wanted to visit the Gili Islands. We chose Gili Trawangan for our stay. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time for 'island hopping'.

The Gili Islands are known for their beautiful snorkeling spots. We stayed at the 'Paradesa Villa', a small bamboo cottage with an outdoor rain shower, pool, delicious breakfast, and free bike rental. Gili Trawangan can be explored by bike, with lots of small cafes with bean bags, nice restaurants, beautiful beach, and small shops. We really liked it here, except for the food at the weekly market which didn't agree with both of us.

While snorkeling, we saw huge turtles not far from the shore, and to wrap up our trip, we both got a turtle tattoo in Kuta :) Now we are ready to fly back home.
