The ship

Just google 'Ovation of the sea' from the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line and you'll see this 🚢. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of the outside of the entire ship... This is what the steamer looks like... And as you can imagine, there's a lot of spectacle here... But it's spread over 16 decks. 🤭

The 1km long gangway on the upper deck is great, where mainly Asians do their rounds. There is yoga or aqua aerobics in the morning and a very nice spa department. Let's see what's on offer... 😉

Otherwise it is a small town or huge hotel on the water with shops, restaurants, pubs, theater, casino, disco, etc.

The food is international, Mediterranean, Asian and tastes very good.

The captain has announced more wind this afternoon as we head deeper into the Tasman Sea. I've already inspected the lifeboats...

Depending on the weather, there are 2 options for getting to Picton, which the captain probably leaves open: either right through the middle of the North and South Islands or around the outside....
