Ancient Corinth

The breakfast takes place in the rain, and we already fear that we will have to spend the day in the car. But Corinth shows its good side, and we can still manage a small walk to Ancient Corinth. The tired bones start to move, and we climb the hill very well. Dogs are barking through the garden gates, startling me again and again... I know there's one there... but I crush Freddy's hand again.

We walk along the fence by Ancient Corinth, take a few photos, and decide that we don’t need to go in the next day... we've seen everything. The photo session is over, and we walk back to the vehicle and decide that we do want to go in the next day... we can't miss that. The evening passes quietly; it's raining again, and we watch a movie with Bruce Willis on our screen and projector... it really has flair and is pure luxury. The night begins, and we sleep the sleep of the righteous.

Today, Ancient Corinth is on the agenda. We strap on our bag, take our wallet and the disability ID with us (a tip: many offers grant free entry with this ID) and walk past the barking, startling dogs to the archaeological site.

Freddy wants to pay, has his above-mentioned ID, and doesn’t need to pay anything.. I also get in for free. That’s what I call great service. We’re very pleased and are surprised that such a thing exists.

Ancient Corinth really has charm; one thing is just strange... everything is broken 😂😂. We trudge through the area, trying to imagine the arena in ancient times, to feel the life that pulsed there... I can’t do it... my imagination isn’t enough. Of course, much is blocked off, otherwise everyone would run back and forth across the archaeological site.

An impressive place, and the cloudy weather made it even more mystical.

We walk back to the vehicle, get the chairs out because the sun briefly says hello to us... then it got cool, and we decided on the interior of the vehicle.

Today we have dumplings with pork chops and a small salad. Delicious because I've cooked double the amount of dumplings that will be processed differently the next day... slice and fry them and serve with applesauce... a poem and a bit like potato pancakes.

The screen is used again to watch a full-sized movie. We can still do this since we are plugged into the power, and it doesn’t matter.
