The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared...

Today, we were on our way to meet the 100-year-olds in Ogimi. In this place with just under 3,000 inhabitants, there are 900 people of this age.

This time, all the exterior mirrors remained undamaged, but Claudia kissed a bumper.

We arrived at the village at noon and went in search of them. And searched, and searched, and searched. The streets were deserted. It seems that meeting the old folks can only be done through an organized tour.

Nevertheless, we discovered a restaurant with typical cuisine from Ogimi (which is said to be healthy), an enchanted hiking trail, and many beautiful flowers and butterflies.

The tour continued to the northern tip of the island, to Cape Hedo, where the South China Sea and the Pacific Ocean collide - according to the plan. Although we followed the signs to the viewpoint, we didn't find the cape. Apparently, the Japanese had taken it away.

Instead, we ended up on a jungle road on the way back.

But no one came to rescue us, so we turned around and soon found the safe main road again, which runs almost the entire way along the South China Sea, enticing with impressive beaches and rock formations.

That's it for today. Tomorrow, we'll come up with another exciting outing.
