Kakadu National Park

Last week we spent 3 very exciting days in Kakadu National Park. The plan included short hikes to millennia-old cave paintings and beautiful waterfalls, as well as camping among Australia's wildlife.

The highlight: a 2-hour boat trip on the Yellow Water Billabong. During this boat trip, you could get so close to the animals like rarely before. From white-bellied sea eagles, all kinds of ducks and birds, crocodiles swimming right next to the boat, to wallabies and buffaloes, everything was there. Very thrilling and exciting at the same time.
