A whole day in Warrnambool - Road Trip Day 4

ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਿਤ: 07.10.2018

In Warrnambool, we had another Airbnb accommodation with an artist. Everything was beautifully decorated, which took some getting used to. But the accommodation was so cozy that we became really lazy. Everyone had a very comfortable bed in our room. The house was very large and food was provided for us. Since we had seen so much in a short time, we were all quite tired, so we took it very easy this day. After a cozy breakfast, we took a long walk through the town. We were particularly fascinated by the large playground. It had a labyrinth, a small waterfall, BBQ areas, picnic areas, trampolines, and much more. It was ideal for children and we were almost sad that we are already so old and that there is nothing like this in Germany. Nevertheless, we didn't miss the opportunity to try out the large cable car ourselves.

Afterwards, we took a walk by the sea and watched the wild waves. Warrnambool is located on the Shipwreck Coast. As the name suggests, up to 80 wrecked ships are lying in the water here. They crashed mainly because of the strong winds and the many rocks. When we saw the wild waves and felt a strong wind blowing towards us, we could really imagine it well. Afterwards, we returned to our accommodation. Luisa and I then started preparing for the next accommodation. We don't have a kitchen at this one, so we precooked some things. Then we enjoyed the accommodation again and let the evening end comfortably. Now we are looking forward to our trip inland.
