Parque Luro was the first private hunting reserve in Argentina. For this purpose, wild boars, deer, and pheasants were imported and settled from Europe.
After the First World War, it became uninteresting for European guests and was abandoned. Today it is a protected area and recreational area in the La Pampa province.
