Today we borrowed bicycles again, this time gravel bikes.

A beautiful 54 km route, with some steep ramps, lay ahead of us.๐Ÿซก

Leaving the city, we quickly found ourselves on a nicely paved bike path that led us straight into Triglav National Park.

There we were surrounded by breathtaking nature and had already conquered the first ascent when we managed to integrate a small gravel section into the tour. Vive Lรจ Tour ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ต

Unfortunately, the signposted hut at the end was closed ๐Ÿ™„

But just a few kilometers later, we could relax at a 'Koca' rest stop.

There was delicious ice cream made from goat's milk ๐Ÿ and conversations with locals and Bochumers.

They warned us about the remaining route. Steep ascent. โฌ†๏ธ

After the first curve, the sign with an 18% gradient did not promise anything good or did it...๐Ÿ˜‰

We pushed ourselves up, and off we went. First downhill to the river before we had to conquer inclines of 17% and 14% on the way back to Bled.

Going down to Bled was easy, and we could coast. We returned the really great bikes and quickly enjoyed a highly praised 'Jodlar ice cream'. Very good!

Much praise again to my sweetheart, hats off๐Ÿ’ช

Back at the accommodation, we looked forward to a nice shower. But first, the door was closed. Somehow locked from inside with a bolt. โญ•๏ธ

Dini solved the problem with a credit card and opened the door. Apparently, sheโ€™s done this before...๐Ÿค”

Freshly showered, we went for delicious pizza. Awesome!

A beautiful day of cycling๐Ÿซ

No, weโ€™re not talking about the last day tomorrow.๐Ÿ˜ฌ

Stay tuned!
