7th April, arrival, April weather

We made it through the Easter traffic in Valais, although it was still quite cold in the morning and we had to turn on the heating.

8th April, sunny, beautiful, some high clouds

We took the Tourmi up to Nendaz (Siviez) and went on a 'short' round-trip hike with snowshoes. The temperature was pleasant and towards the end, the snow turned slushy. Back at the campsite, we took a walk around Domain des Iles. Dinner at the Camping Sedunum restaurant.

9th April, sunny, beautiful, windy in the afternoon

We rode our bikes to Lac Souterrain St. Leonard and took a boat tour through the cave. Then we biked to Sion and visited Tourbillon. In the late afternoon, we returned to the campsite.

10th April, sunny in the morning, then cloudy

We biked to Saillon and explored the village and the castle. For dessert, we stopped by Camping Saillon, which is very close to the highway.

11th April, rainy

In the morning, we cleaned up and visited Aquarena.
