                      To hong kong!

It was a relaxed morning. I had 3 bowls of cornflakes with a slide of cheese as breakfast since I still had those left.

I spent the day at the hostel, and continued with my weird snacks and meals that I had left.

Following microwaved rice&curry which was the only menu left since I rather ate the pasta and pizzas I bought. Also with some slices of cheese

Then an apple, a single slice of ham and more cheese. (I dont know why I have so much cheese left)

Later I had 3 oranges with a nice topping of cheese.

And as a final snack before I left cheeeese.

The shuttle picked me up a little earlier then planned because a flight was just about to arrive and the shuttle had to be there to pick up all the people. I didnt mind since I was getting nervous like before every flight about all the things that could go wrong.

At the airport I checked in my luggage it was heavier then iI expected and what was actually allowed. Because I am pretty sure I booked for 15kg and it was 16.8kg, the first drip of sweat poured down my face but the lady didnt say anything about it.

Then she checked my flight and wanted to print my flight ticket. But it didnt work since for some reason my passport couldnt get scanned. Second drip of sweat at the back of my neck.

She was able to type it in manually and gave me my ticket and the gate number.

I started heading down a hallway towards where I thought the gate was. However there was a big locked door infront of me. So I turned around and saw that I almost went out the emergency exit. Third drip of sweat in a place where the sun doesnt shine.

I turned around and just quickly asked the lady from before where I had to go.

Now I went the right way and the security check was coming up. I wanted to be sure that I did nothing wrong so I started to read the sign that was listing all the things that had to be out of the bag. While reading a security guard noticed me and pulled me a side for a 'routine bomb check' I laughed a nervous laughter: 'ha..ha... oh okay sure I mean I would be glad to know if I had something explosive on me- ähm not that I have anything explosive on me of course I just ähm-...' He looked me straight in the eyes and scanned me and my bag very carefully. I wasnt just sweating anymore I WAS SWEAT. My entire body was a fluid that was about to just drop to the floor.

I went towards the security check already expecting the worst. However everything was fine. I was actually the only person there and had all the time to get my things out and put them back without any stress.

The boarding itself was not a problem. The seats were a bit uncomfortable but it was just a 2hour flight to Brisbane. On they way that had a cheese baguette or a wild mushroom pizza. As you can imagine I did not go for the cheese one since I am pretty sure I cant eat cheese for another week. The Pizza was a lot better then expected though.

In brisbane I went through the security check again. This time it didnt went as good. I lost my sunscreen and my toothpaste as they were to 'big' to take with me.

My flight to hong kong is about to leave. I will surely use the time to get some rest.

Have a goodnight.
