Forgetful!

In the morning, we were awakened by the sound of the waves. As soon as we sat in our chairs and looked at the sea, a friendly neighbor came over with a plate of watermelon for us. The Oman is really great! We went for a leisurely swim and breakfast. We made omelettes and coffee with our camping stove. Wonderful! After some swimming, we were finally the last ones to leave the beach. On the way to the next campsite, we stopped at a café to wash our dishes. Because we had so much fun camping by the sea, we wanted to spend the next night on the beach as well. Although our car rental company's plan was to turn towards the mountains, we thought we knew better. Unfortunately, it turned out that we should have listened to the rental company. The beach we chose was actually a nature reserve where camping was not allowed. There were two campsites marked on the maps, but it seems that has recently changed. After spending 1 hour in the dark trying to find a somewhat acceptable spot, we gave up. We went to a hotel and stayed there. Unlike India, where the pictures on hotel booking portals in 99.9% of cases are at least retouched, the information and pictures here in Oman are 100% accurate! So we could blindly rely on the pictures and booked a cozy hotel nearby.
