To the Khao Mai Kew Cave.

09.11.2018:

Today, unfortunately, I had to leave the hotel as the price per night exceeded my budget. I had booked it during a promotional period. I booked a bed in the hostel. But no one was there. I could use the pool at the neighboring resort, so I asked there. At least I could leave my luggage there and use a locker.

Then I went to the Khao Mai Kew Cave. However, the tours only started in the afternoon. So I went to Lanta Old Town instead. Took a stroll and found some new clothes. But then I went back to the cave.

Interestingly, you could mostly hear German in the cave again. The Germans are everywhere. I joined a group of girls. The cave was slippery and sometimes a bit dangerous. It also went through very narrow passages. Just before the exit, you could see many bats and then you actually had to crawl out through a small hole. All clothes and backpacks were automatically completely dirty afterwards. I didn't expect that, but well, they can be washed.

Back at the hostel, no one was still there. At least I could check in through the resort. I was alone in the 10-bed room. Then it was dinner time. I was starting to miss the people from Germany. And German food, especially bread and normal sliced cheese.
