15.12.2017 - Sydney, the 1st day

At 10 o'clock we set off to Central Station to explore Sydney with the Hop on - Hop off Bus.

We are feeling a tiny bit of jet lag. But we want to hold on as long as possible.

At first, Sydney doesn't impress us that much. It's cloudy and windy.....

But then we see the Harbour Bridge and the Opera, WOW!

We take another round with the bus and this time get off at the Bridge. We stroll towards The Rocks, Sydney's old town.

The Rock is charming with small shops, bars, and cafes.

We strengthen ourselves there first.

We continue over Circular Quai (which is the ferry harbor of Sydney) towards the Opera. It's quite impressive.

And to finish, we treat ourselves to a drink at the opera bar.

So here we sit outside the Opera and can hardly believe that we are here!

But now it's time to go back to the accommodation.

We made it, 7 pm, we go to bed.

And Sydney did catch us after all.
