The last night in Aliki was quite stormy and chilly.
So we also had breakfast at the accommodation today, as it was too windy and cold outside for us.
After breakfast, we packed our remaining things and stored everything in the car.
After the accommodation was cleaned, we set off for Limena. Upon arriving in Limena, we bought tickets for the ferry and immediately went on board.
With a heavy heart, we had to leave Thassos behind and kept looking back wistfully during the crossing.
In Keramoti, we got off the ferry again and headed towards Chrisoupoli, our next stop.
The monastery Agios Nikolaos in or near Porto Lagos had already caught our attention last time, so we drove past it again this time.
These two adorable monasteries, connected by a walkway over the water, have a very special atmosphere. We looked at everything again, also lit some candles for ourselves and our relatives, and spent some time in the shop, where Eve bought a pretty ring.
Afterwards, we continued on the highway towards Turkey. Shortly before the border, we turned left to our destination for the day, Tychero, where we checked into the Hotel Loga.
Then we still drove to Dadia (nature park and bird sanctuary) to register for the first tour to the vulture observation station tomorrow morning.
On the way back, we bought some things, because in this region, just like two years ago, most things are missing in the accommodations. (Here there was no cutlery, cups, glasses, plates, etc...)
The accommodation itself is a bit outdated but very spacious. We have a bathroom with a bathtub, a kitchenette (without utensils), a 2-burner stove with a mini oven, and a refrigerator that doesn't look nice anymore and doesn't stay closed anymore (unless you put a heavy pilot case in front of it ;-) )
Then there is a dining area, a living area, and a third bed. Furthermore, a spacious bedroom with a double bed and a huge covered balcony.
Spent the evening on the spacious covered balcony and had something to eat. The view from the balcony even extends over to Turkey.
Since the wifi also didn't work, this post will probably come a day later.
