Herbert is rumbling around outside, and I'm also rumbling inside. Are you crazy? This can't go on like this. It's been a long time since I've been under the influence of alcohol like this early in the morning. The residual intoxication is definitely a full-blown one. Wow. I have to really slow down when I go to get my breakfast croissants so I don't fall into anything. I feel like Ozzy Osbourne, or at least that's how I imagine him. I move in an uncoordinated and shaky manner, my head is pounding and my intestines are also very irritated. My stomach hurts too and my face looks more like a pumpkin than a human face.
The weather? Yes, it's OK. The sun is shining, but the breeze is still quite fresh. Let's see if the wind brings more clouds or if it makes way for the sun. At the moment (around 10 a.m.) it looks rather mixed. I don't think I'll be able to go go-karting, as originally planned. I feel sick just walking, it would be a pretty undignified way of stumbling around on the Pista Internazionale. The snail kart would probably be too fast for me, and I don't want to throw up on the track either.
The wind is too strong and it stays cold all the time. Plans for excursions are also discussed, but are then abandoned due to the participants' physical weakness. So we just hang around lethargically in the house or in front of the house and I, in particular, am useless. The day creeps by, the pain slowly lessens but does not disappear until we fall asleep.
Later in the afternoon we even manage to make an accident-free trip to Poggibonsi . The shops attached to the COOP, however, turn out to be a bitter disappointment. Unfortunately, the clothes are all rags and I haven't seen any decent shoes anywhere this year. The suspicion that Italy, and especially the area around Siena, has something to do with the axis of evil is becoming more and more confirmed. It's not just the strange photography behavior of little Fengshuillino that suggests an Al Qaeda training camp. In every (!) supermarket (!) you can buy Saddam Hussein or Osama bin Laden devotional items. Completely legal. Straight from the shelf. Not even disguised in any way, but completely official. A bad thing. So I buy 1 kilo of SADAM sugar and 1 ballpoint pen called OSAMA as evidence.
What else should I write? In the evening we'll have pan-fried sole with zucchini, before that melon with ham. Today we'll limit ourselves to 1 (!) bottle, so we're noticing certain signs of age, and we also need to keep our minds fresh after the discoveries we made today. You never know what's coming.
England - Croatia 4:2, Wayne Rooney is a refreshing and brilliant footballer despite his ugliness, respect. 2 goals scored, one assisted. France beat Switzerland 3:1, the first-named teams in each case advance. The England match was really quite good. We're in bed at 11.
