We stayed in Skoutari at Kamares Bay for 2 nights. Here we met Moni and Stephan again. We already met them in Killini. On the second evening, we sat together and chatted a bit. Nowadays, we are happy to meet like-minded people. There are so many lonely places. Thursday morning, I already felt a bit nauseous when I woke up. After I went into the sea, it was gone. Today, I wanted to go cycling for the first time. Unfortunately, it suffered quite a bit from the sea salt air. Luckily, I took the old one with me, but Burki had just overhauled it. These are the moments when the discussion comes up again whether it makes sense to take a bike or not. I cycled the 18km to Gythio and waited for Burki at the harbor. The nausea came back and I felt weak. To make it short, I also had a fever in the evening. We still had a few errands to run, or rather Burki had to do that. In the evening, we drove to the shipwreck for overnight. It has been there since 1980. A serious illness of the captain and engine problems were the reason for docking in the port of Gythio. It couldn't stay there, so they pulled it a bit out into the open sea. There it came loose from its anchorage and suffered shipwreck at this point. This morning, the nausea was gone. Only the weakness and sun intolerance are still there a bit. So it's getting better again. Tonight, we'll stay near the ferry port of Elafonissi, another Robinson Crusoe place.
