With this blog, we want to briefly tell you how we eat:
In the morning, we start with coffee, a proper cup of coffee brewed with the coffee pour-over press pot, usually with a splash of condensed milk. We don't like it at home, but when we're on the go, it gives us a special travel feeling.
Our stove is a two-burner alcohol stove. We need about 3.5-4.0 liters of alcohol for 4 weeks, and we bring 14 liters with us. You can buy alcohol in large supermarkets or pharmacies.
For z'Morgen (a traditional Swiss breakfast), we usually have fruit with muesli and some bread. Oranges, bananas, and apples are plentiful in the market. For shopping, we usually go to the Suk in the village or city. In the evenings, we eat a lot of vegetables and salad, which we also buy at the Suk.
We have a built-in water tank with a capacity of 70 liters. We usually fill up the tank at campsites and add Micropur to the water. We use this water for cooking, washing dishes, and brushing our teeth. For drinking, we only use bottled water, which is safer for us than tap water.
