Work | Week 5 | 30.10 - 05.11.23

The week started well as I finally got a call for a job offer (as an on-call worker). However, my joy was limited because I was only needed on Tuesday. Luckily, I got another job offer on Tuesday, possibly even until Christmas. Getting up at 4:45 a.m., starting work at 6 a.m. and finishing at 2:30 p.m., then off to the beach, that's what my everyday life looked like until Friday.

On Friday I got the news that I wouldn't be needed on the construction site next week - so no long-term job after all. Elliott and I then decided that we would go to the Gold Coast the following week. I spent the rainy Saturday day with two friends at the New South Wales Art Gallery.

On Sunday I visited a few second hand shops and flea markets in Newton. Newton, also a district of Sydney, has a hip scene.
