Departure day

Our departure from Barnstaple through England was just as slow as the journey to Minehead. At least Barnstaple has a train station.

Barnstaple - Exeter - Plymouth - Par - Quintrell Downs - Newquay was the train route, then a bus to the airport.

I found the door opener system on one train quite amusing: open the window and open from the outside... :-P

When we arrived at Newquay airport, the search for our accommodation began.

One hour. In the rain.

However, we made some nice discoveries, including the "Falcon Inn". We also had a delicious dinner there, met funny people, and had a successful last evening... let's not talk about the morning/day after. :-P

Furthermore, it was Rosemunde Pilcher's 94th birthday, that must be celebrated... Cheers ;-)
