The aquarium and the wild sea

The weather is a bit changeable. Rain and sun alternate every half an hour and additionally a strong, cool wind blows.

Therefore we were quite happy that - arrived in the Lofoten - we first went to the aquarium. Not only Konstantin was very excited. There is a lot to see and you can get up close to the fish, seals, crabs, anemones... Very nice and especially very few visitors, so you often stood alone in front of the tanks and could observe in peace.

At lunchtime quickly a few sandwiches and then we went straight to the boat towards the Trollfjord - a small, narrow fjord with towering rocks on the left and right.

But I have to admit that it was not Trollfjord itself that was the attraction, but the modern hybrid ship where we were able to get the best seats. But above all the scenic, but partly very exciting journey on the rough sea with 1-3 meter high waves, which even made the big ship rock hard, will stay in our memory. While some adults felt quite uneasy, Konstantin and Julius shouted and screamed with joy.
