The Jet d'eau is one of the symbols of the city of Geneva. What was once a small fountain was created due to a waterworks and the need to compensate for excess water pressure, and became a popular attraction. With a jet of water up to 140 meters high, the Jet d'eau towers over the city of Geneva. At 200 km/h, the system emits 500 liters of water per second.
