Today, July 11, 2016 was marked by: Departure to the Lagoon City

Meaning: packing suitcases, loading the car, preparing travel provisions,... etc. Our new destination is now Venice. Just before reaching the island/lagoon city, have a warm meal, park the car in the parking garage (and secure it), and find a train at the station that will take us across at a reasonable price. Once we arrive, we bought 3-day passes to be able to flexibly visit all desired locations using the shuttle boat. Buses don't run as frequently here ;-)
