From Immenstadt to Oberstdorf

ପ୍ରକାଶିତ |: 07.07.2018

After freeing ourselves from the effects of continuous rain yesterday in Immenstadt, spreading the soaked clothes in our room at Gasthof Hirsch to dry and enjoying the welcome beer, we set off for a short walk to the nearby city center. It had stopped raining by then, or so we thought. However, the walk was abruptly interrupted by another downpour, so we returned to our inn for a meal.

This morning, we set off for our destination, Oberstdorf. It was a leisurely ride since the route was only 23 km long and mostly flat along the Iller river. Although the clouds were still hanging low, there were already gaps in the sky, as promised, and the sun was shining through. Upon arrival in Oberstdorf, we went straight to the train station and booked our return ticket. We easily found a room at Haus Aurelia in the tourist information opposite. Tomorrow, we will head to the Stillachtal valley towards Haldenwanger Eck. Let's see how far we can go.
