Christchurch

Although Christchurch is the largest city in the South Island of New Zealand, it is quite boring .. Visiting the memorials and the mosque of the attack was exciting and emotional. The way the people in the mosque treated me and how grateful they were for any support and actually also pity, is truly heartbreaking..

There is also the botanical garden, which is nice but nothing special - there were many beautiful roses, I have to admit. The beach about 30/40 minutes from the city was cute, but it is too cold here to spend time at the beach, so we just looked at it and left.. There is also the museum, which has endless different exhibitions. This was really cool, especially because they recreated a street and made you feel like you were in the 19th century.

But other than that, I haven't really done much here.. But now we are moving on, so it's not a big deal!
