04.10.2018:

Sleeping in is on the agenda. We slept until 10 o'clock, check-out is at 11 o'clock. Actually, I would have liked to stay in Chiang Mai longer, but the group wanted to move on. Well, now I am traveling with them to Pai and then I can go back to Chiang Mai alone. But I think right now that I am giving up my flexibility in the group. I have 60 days in Thailand. Why the stress of always moving from one place to another. After all, I am also traveling to relax. Traveling alone or together - both have their advantages and disadvantages. After a while of traveling together, I am looking forward to some time alone again and with all the freedom.

Now on to the next part: We wanted to go to Pai. Directly from the hostel to Pai for 250 baht or for 40 baht to the bus terminal in Chiang Mai and then pay another uncertain amount there? We decided to take the risk. Result: We only paid 190 baht instead of 250 baht in total. We drove for three hours through many curves in the green until we reached the hippie village. After a 1 km walk, we checked in. For 2 € per night, there are hardly any mattresses, dirt and no air conditioning, only a fan. The funny thing is: I don't care. I got used to it. I just jumped into my sleeping bag and an uncomfortable bed doesn't matter. After checking in, we went to the local market. We had some food and I bought some souvenirs. We went to a bar. I went home earlier, I didn't feel like drinking. Then I wrote blog posts.
