Hello everyone,

We have now been on the road for a few days and it's time for us to update you. First of all - we are doing very well!!

After our little tour in Germany, we started on July 5th towards Las Vegas. After a long flight with a layover in Montreal, we arrived just in time for the awakening of the city, although we were very tired. We used the two days in Vegas to rest during the day and to get rid of the jet lag (and also to watch some soccer, but that's old news now). During the day, it is simply a shabby, too hot nest in Nevada. The evenings, on the other hand, are more colorful, louder, crazier, more flashy, and more extravagant than you can imagine. Elvis is alive, we saw him in his Cadillac at a red traffic light, surely on his way to the next wedding. There are wedding chapels on every corner where you can say "I do" in drunkenness to the sounds of Elvis' "Love Me Tender" and then go a street further to keep the divorce lawyer alive. One of the many things that make Las Vegas what it is. There are so many crazy people and there really is nothing that doesn't exist here. Most of the time, we spend on Fremont Street or the Strip, having a drink here and there or playing a little roulette (unfortunately not very successfully). To be honest, after two nights, we've had enough and we were quite happy when we could pick up our car and leave the city.

And we really got a cool car named Hookah :-) but more details on that later...
