Xochicalco and Cuernavaca - Day 7

ପ୍ରକାଶିତ |: 16.04.2022

Today I left early in the morning to be back before the heat gets too intense. The plan was to visit Xochicalco, another ancient archaeological site. It is located on a hill with a great view. The most significant structure is the Pyramid of the Feathered Serpents. There are also ball courts to see. The trip was completed with a visit to the museum.

Back in Cuernavaca, I let myself wander around the city again. I visited the Museo Morelense de Arte Contemporáneo and the Callejon de Arte, where a lot of handicrafts are sold.

Afterwards, I treated myself to a massage before going to eat Virginia Pozole (traditional corn soup with Carnitas and Avocado). Then we enjoyed the beautiful hotel bar once again.
