The temperatures in the camper had dropped quite a bit over the night, which is why we woke up early again and quickly used the air conditioning as a heater.

The day before we had fulfilled our target number of hikes and therefore set off towards Melbourne earlier than originally planned.

After a good 6 hour drive through the Australian Alps, we arrived at “Lake Hume”. With over 20,000 hectares, the lake is one of Australia's most important water reservoirs, but also offers the opportunity to swim or fish.

We moved into the pitch with a view of the lake, briefly explored the campsite and walked to the dam before we went back to planning our trip for the rest of the week.

For dessert today there was a fantastically beautiful sunset over the lake.
