TAG 33-47 TE PUKE, ROTORUA, HAMILTON

ପ୍ରକାଶିତ |: 12.12.2022

The last two weeks on the kiwi farm fly by and before we know it, our paths diverge in different directions for now.

While the others continue to Coromandel, Philipp and I head to Rotorua, a city by the sulfur lake where it really smells like rotten eggs 😅 Despite the rain, we take a long walk through the Redwood forest and do a little second-hand shopping in the city center.

After a rather average overnight stay in a tavern parking lot, the next day we go for a swim in Kerosene Creek (a river with hot water, like taking a bath in the wild) and then hike up Rainbow Mountain.

The next day, we stroll through Hamilton, visit the city museum, and check out the Hamilton Gardens. After another overnight stay in a parking lot, we take a detour to Hunua Falls before heading to Piha.

There we will meet the others again and continue our journey together towards the north and Cape Reinga ;)

Bye bye!!

Josie :))
