English version below.
Now we are back in Paderborn. After our departure from Pamukkale, we made a small stopover in Istanbul, where we met the friendly staff of the Second Home Hostel again, before returning to Germany; mind you, by bus, not by plane. Over 30 hours of travel lay ahead of us, during which compression stockings, soft pillows, and Netflix became our best friends. We finally reached Munich, from where we finally returned to Paderborn by Blablacar and train. In the end, we were on the road for almost 48 hours.
It's a strange feeling to get on a bus after four months of traveling and be back home (relatively) shortly afterwards. Despite Corona, we are glad to have taken the trip. If you ever have doubts about whether you should embark on a journey or not, just remember that even in pandemic times, you can get around very well without your own car and airplane. If you really want to travel, don't let anything stop you!
We hope you enjoyed our reports. See you soon! ;)

Now we are back in Paderborn again. After leaving Pamukkale we had a little stopover in Istanbul, where we met with the friednly staff of the Second Home Hostel again. Then we took the bus back to Germany. In the over 30-hour-ride our thrombosis socks, soft pillows and netflix became our best friends. Like this we finally reached Munich late at night and took a Blablacar-ride and the train back to Paderborn. After all we had been on the road for over 48 hours and were quite exhausted accordingly.
It is a weird feeling to simply enter a bus and be back in your home town again in a (relatively) short time afterwards; especially after travelling for about 4 month. Despite Corona we are really glad that we did the trip. Should you ever be in doubt whether to go on a journey or not, just remember the fact that it is possible to travel the world even during a pandemic without a car or a plane and without any bigger troubles. If you really want to travel, just do it!
We hope that you enjoyed reading our blog. See you guys soon! ;)
