After breakfast, we took the bus directly to Limerick. During the bus ride, I fell asleep a couple of times because one of my new roommates from the night before kept the whole room awake with his snoring.

Upon my arrival, I had to wait a few hours before I could check in to the accommodation, so I sat in the park to read.

Shortly after my arrival there, I was approached by a friendly man named John. Not only had he traveled a lot and even lived in Hamburg for a while, but he was so kind that our conversation lasted almost two enjoyable hours. Above you can see a photo of me with his dogs, whom he was walking with. Just before we said goodbye, John gave me a culinary tip for my dinner.

Just after John left, it started to rain again and I had to walk to the accommodation in the rain to check in. After storing my belongings there, I set out to explore Limerick.

First, I visited the local castle, which was also a museum. Then I wandered around the area for a bit until I was completely hungry and went to the restaurant that John had recommended. This Indian restaurant had truly delicious food, and feeling satisfied and still slightly tired, I returned to the accommodation where my day ended.
