Vancouver Island - Tofino and Ucuelet

After a wonderful breakfast with homemade scones ♡ (I immediately took the recipe with me - to all colleagues & friends & neighbors: I will try them as soon as I get home :D) and fresh berries, we continued to the west coast. The surfer spot Tofino is incredibly beautiful. There are many lovingly decorated shops and cafes and the atmosphere is simply 'Very laid-back'.

Of course, I couldn't resist jumping into the Pacific - the only one in a bikini :D

Afterwards, we went on a whale watching tour. I think that was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.

We saw a humpback whale, which simply takes your breath away. I can't put into words how unbelievably beautiful that moment was.

In addition to the whale, we were able to see sea lions and seals. That was truly one of the most beautiful days of my life. It's incredible how much warmth these living beings bring to your heart ♡

And somewhere over the rainbow skies are blue and the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true ♡
