A trip to friends in Stellenbosch and Somerset West

After moving into 1 Monuntain Rd B&B yesterday, today we enjoyed breakfast at the Bayside restaurant in Fish Hoek (right on the beach) with the corresponding vouchers from Sanchia and Ray.

Then our journey took us through the dunes of Muizenberg towards Stellenbosch, where we parked our car in Checker's parking lot. We then visited Rousseau Groove at the pearl shop (Perles par Rousseau), had a chat and a drink.

After that, we went to Somerset West, where we visited Hilda Groove, Rousseau's mother, at The Somerset Lifestyle & Retirement Village (we would call it a retirement village with services). We spent some quality time together over cheesecake and tea. Then we had to visit Hilde's apartment. We headed back towards Fish Hoek around 4:00 pm and made a stop in Kalk Bay (at the harbor). We had an early dinner at Harbour House and now we are back at our accommodation, slowly winding down the day.
