Today it was very stormy again! I decided to take a walk on the beach to see the stormy sea. But I didn't want to walk on the tourist beach, but on the adjacent beach, which is usually quite empty. I knew from Sarah that there is a small path somewhere that leads from the street to the beach, passing between the houses. I wanted to find it. I knew the approximate direction and that the path looks like you're walking into someone's garden. I set off from home and went in the assumed direction. It kept going up the hill and I walked past the most beautiful gardens and the most stunning villas. In some houses, you could look through and see the sea behind them. So I knew I was on the right track. Now I just had to find this little path to the beach. As I walked a few hundred meters further and was already thinking about walking through a garden of a house to get to the beach, the small beach path finally appeared and I came down to the sea. The sea was very stormy and the waves were sometimes meters high. On the beach, I found many beautiful seashells and special creatures. There were green tube-like things scattered all over the beach, which burst when you stood on them. Little snails ate this green stuff. I walked on the beach for about half an hour and then sat down at the beach restaurant "Moby Deck" to call Janic and my family. I also had a flabby portion of French fries... well, they really can't make French fries here!
As I walked home, unfortunately, it started to rain. But at least it was worth taking my rain jacket with me :-).
A cozy Sunday!
