Day 15: Children's Day

ପ୍ରକାଶିତ |: 01.06.2019

Today I wake up around 9 o'clock. Both kids are still asleep. We're not in a hurry because we don't have any plans for today. According to the weather forecast, it's supposed to rain all day at 18°C. It's actually cloudy and cool. We have breakfast in the awning. As soon as Marik is done, he wants to go to the playground. That's not a problem today because we can watch him from the breakfast table. He and Leo play in the sand and at the playground for the entire morning. Marik enthusiastically climbs everywhere and Leo plays with our sand toys.

In the early afternoon, we drive to Zadar and walk through the beautiful old town.

We have a big ice cream and stroll through the streets.

It's not as touristy here as in other places. There are a few things for children on the promenade: bouncy castles, trampolines, mini train. Marik chooses a ride and wants to ride the fire engine. We are happy to fulfill this wish and he is very happy about it.

We continue walking along the waterfront to the 'Sea Organ', an award-winning art installation. This organ plays different sounds depending on the waves and the music is always different. We stay there and Marik tries fascinated to find out where the sounds come from.

We drive back to the campsite around 4 p.m. We go to the playground and the beach again.

In the evening, we go out to eat and then to the mini disco. Marik prefers to watch the action from a distance today.

Tomorrow, if the weather is good, we want to go to the water park. Currently, it's supposed to stay cool and we will move further north at the latest on Monday or Tuesday, hoping to find better weather there.
