As we return to the bungalow from breakfast, Kori suddenly stops and whispers, 'there's a snake'. I look up and see a green tree snake trying to make its way from the roof to the tree. Since we disturbed it, it retreats and disappears under the roof of our bungalow. Initially, there is a lot of excitement and Kori packs her bags so the snake can't crawl in. We could move, but there might be some other small animal there too. The managers offer to send someone to check where it has hidden itself. However, we decline and leave the snake in peace. It only becomes aggressive when cornered and it's not dangerous to humans. We are in the jungle and we have to expect all sorts of things. I also took a photo of it. The picture is not very sharp, so I picked out another one where you can see it better. By the way, these snakes can also fly from one tree to another. Lisi and Michi also see a monitor lizard at the beach, which then hides in a small hole. I wait in front with the camera, but it only sticks its head out a little. That's not enough for a photo.
