Day 12: Huka Falls

ପ୍ରକାଶିତ |: 20.09.2018

Today I’m heading to the Huka Falls. To get there, I have a two-hour hike ahead of me. It’s really exhausting, but the surrounding is worth it. After a small show of strength, I have reached my destination. The forces that rule here are immense. It is definitely a natural spectacle. On the way back, I meet Song. He is from South Korea and has been working in Napier (115km from Taupo) for three months. Before that, he lived in Australia for two years. When I asked him why he no longer lives in South Korea, he said that his way of life does not conform to the South Korean norm. I chat with him for about an hour before our paths separate again. When I return to my studio, I am really exhausted. I cook lunch and lie down in bed. Just in time for sunset, I go outside again. Taupo is a truly beautiful city!

Hahah yeah right. I don’t exactly know tbh. But I guess it’s like having a wife, a kid and work a 7-5 job. Kinda like that.
