21.03. Cycling through Melbourne

Melbourne is an awesome city. We were convinced of that today when we cycled through the city with Michelle, our guide (who recently visited a friend in Hausham and therefore also knew our hometown). There is so much to discover in Melbourne - an impressive skyline with crazy architecture, green parks, many museums, artistically painted house walls, a few historical buildings (not really old for us), cool 'hipster' neighborhoods. And everywhere, preparations are underway for the Formula 1 race next weekend.

In addition, Melbourne boasts an exciting gastronomic scene with countless trendy bars and restaurants. From the outside, these are often not recognizable as such. A door, you enter and you are in a different world. With some, you might think, I'm not going into that dingy alley. And that's exactly where top restaurants are located. Crazy, but beautiful.

Tomorrow morning we fly to New Zealand, but we will be back in Australia....
