Just like the previous days, the alarm went off at 07:15. Around nine o'clock, I started walking downhill. The last stage was not a challenging tour, but rather suited to relax a bit. I walked partly on roads, forest or field paths down the Pfitschtal, past the mighty mountains on the left and right, and streams rushing down.
Two schoolgirls even set up a lemonade stand on our route to earn some pocket money, which is certainly worth it when at least the alpine crossers pass by every day.
Before you knew it, you were already in Sterzing, you walked a short distance through the old town and you were already in the hotel.
I ordered spare ribs for lunch directly at the Hotel, which kept me full for quite a while.
The dinner was again very rich with five courses and I am stuffed now. During dinner, we also received our certificate for completing the alpine crossing.
Tomorrow it will be time to set the alarm one last time to take the bus back to Tegernsee at nine o'clock, where I will stay for one more night.
Tomorrow I will write a final summary with some numbers and other information.
